JUVÉDERM® XC:

The first of the JUVÉDERM® line to be approved by the FDA as a non-surgical hyaluronic acid with lidocaine, JUVÉDERM® XC is used to treat moderate to severe folds and fine lines around the mouth and nose. Injected directly into the facial tissue, JUVÉDERM® XC adds volume to targeted areas with results lasting up to one year.

JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC:

If you’re looking to enhance thin or deflated lips, JUVÉDERM® ULTRA XC may be the option you’re looking for with optimal results lasting up to a year. Mixed with lidocaine to ease pain, this injectable gel can not only provide a fuller lip but can address troublesome smile lines around the nose and mouth.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC:

Utilizing a thin needle at the injection site, JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC increases the overall volume for your lips, softens lines around the mouth and can provide results for up to two years. This variation also includes lidocaine to reduce discomfort.

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC:

If you’re looking for a longer lasting treatment of fine lines and wrinkles around your nose and mouth, JUVÉDERM® VOLLURE™ XC may be an option worth considering. Optimal results can be seen up to 18 months after treatment. The inclusion of lidocaine in this formula aids pain, and immediate effects include additional volume to folds and lines for a smoother overall appearance.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC:

For a cheek area that is sagging or sunken in, JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA XC can immediately increase volume at and around the injection site. Lidocaine appears in this mixture as well to minimize pain with results lasting up to two years.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX® XC:

This injectable gel is for deep injection to improve moderate to severe loss of jawline.

What Should You Expect During Treatment?

JUVÉDERM® injections are administered with precision needles and inserted directly into the facial tissue. Many providers also use cannulas to provide added comfort and to minimize bruising.

Does it hurt?

Every patient’s pain tolerance is different. However, the addition of lidocaine in JUVÉDERM® XC products does help to minimize discomfort for patients. Our injectors are also highly experienced in additional methods to ensure your procedure is as comfortable as possible.

Is there any downtime?

One of the benefits of JUVÉDERM® fillers is that recovery time is minimal and patients can resume normal activities immediately following their procedure. However, typically patients should avoid strenuous exercise and massaging the site of injection for at least 24 hours. There may be some small bruising or mild. pinpoint bleeding but this is easily covered with makeup and should resolve in a few days after the injection.

What are the side effects of JUVÉDERM®?

Juvéderm side effects are typically mild to moderate, but can include mild swelling, tenderness, redness, bruising, itching, and discoloration at and around the injection site and typically resolves within 5-7 days.
